geetee66 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Another fine save! Really great job on this, Richard. One of my favourite cars of '59 Perfect colour combination, too.
Drgon63 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 awesome Rich... that is a sweet ride... white with red very classy...
Ramfins59 Posted February 16, 2015 Author Posted February 16, 2015 I thank you all so very much for all of your very kind, encouraging comments. Michael Dalton - The PE pieces I used for the snaps are from an "Every Nut & Bolt" Set that I got from Norm Veber at Replicas & Miniatures Co. of MD. I'm down to my last package of these and I emailed Norm Veber to order more which I would pick up from him at the NNL East show on April 18th. Unfortunately, Norm advised that these are no longer available from his PE supplier . Norm also advised that he thinks that he will only be a spectator at the NNL this year and not a vendor, because he is once again so backed up on filling his orders that he doubts he will be able to make enough stock to bring to the show to sell. I applaud him for putting his customer's orders first, but it's disappointing to not have him setting up his tables at the NNL.
10thumbs Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Thanks Rich, this is unfortunate news. They look to be right.
DeeCee Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 So very nicely done, i am not a big fan of "standard", but that really stands out for me.. GREAT BUILD!!

Sixties Sam Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Oh, man! That is beautiful, Rich! The white with red is the perfect color combo! Great foil work - those 50's cars had a lot of chrome! Great work, and I'm glad you saved it! Sam
72 Charger Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Hey Rich I could not help but take a second look at your fantastic Buick and I noticed that your up top cover seems to be floating? Is it something that could be fixed or not?
crazyjim Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Clean, sweet, and SHINY :) . Well done Rich.
Ramfins59 Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Thanks guys. Dave, you're eagle eye caught that I see..!! Yeah, I'll have to try to fix that at some point.
om617 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Great looking Buick. The wheel and tire combo makes it look really classy.
