sbk Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Great work! You & Froghawk surely know how to bring life to those old AMT models.
Curt Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Beautiful work, Steve. I do remember when convertible tops came in many different colors (my mom had a white '59 Olds 88 'vert with a blue top like your Fairlane) and so it's nice to see that you went that way. I always look forward to seeing what you will do next!
StevenGuthmiller Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks guys! My intention was to get outside this weekend & get some decent out door photos, as the weather has finally began to improve a bit here in Minnesota. But, I was feeling a bit under the weather so I had to postpone. Hopefully soon as I'm not really "feeling" the pics I posted already for this build. I guess with spring coming on, I have plenty of time. Steve
David G. Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Looks fantastic, well done! Can't wait to see the sunlight pics. David G.
Beeg Juanito Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Beautiful! I love the old SMP/AMT Models! I have a few,(three 58 Fords)This one is spectacular!
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 Thanks guys! Personally, I've always like the looks of the '58 over the '57 or '59. I'm a little surprised none of the kit companies have done a new tool of this one. Steve
