JollySipper Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I bought this kit to get the engine and suspension, when I found the parts wouldn't fit my kit-bash efforts, I decided to build it..... It's not as detailed as the kit will allow (There are decals for the cruise and climate controls) but it turned out OK I guess..... Hope you all enjoy! Any and all comments are welcome............!
JollySipper Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 I almost forgot, I haven't installed the headlight lenses yet.......
ferrari87 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I don't blame you for leaving the climate control and such decals off. I HATE working with decals.
JollySipper Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 I feel you on the decals, Justin! These were actually a pleasure to work with, the guage decals actually fit to the faces, they don't have a border like most older kits do........
DeeCee Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 That is nice and tidy, i love the shape of these beasts.
JollySipper Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Thanks for the nice comments, guys! I'm glad you like it..... I didn't mention the paint, it's DupliColor Universal Black with Rustoleum Crystal clear..... Like their clear, will be using it more often.
JollySipper Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 Thanks, Guys....! I haven't seen much in the way of reviews of this kit, neither positive nor negative, but it's a really nice kit that goes together pretty easily.......
BLOODBANE Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Nice. I just bought my wife a 2012, and have one of these kits to build when the car gets here.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Looks good to me...very clean, nice paint. I really like the way Revell did the windows on these, setting them in from the outside. Makes a much more realistic appearance.
Speedfreak Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Nice job TJ! I love those Challengers, can't wait for the 2015's. Your color choices worked really well on this car. I'd be putting that one somewhere safe and clean.
