Fabrux
You would think that with a 1:1 scale plastic model, they could make it not look so much like plastic.
unclescott58
I'll be passing on this one. True it's less expensive than a real bike. But, it looks it. Plus, I don't have a shelf big enough to display it. Scott

Mikevango
I think it's kind of neat. Maybe if I was a old rich guy I might buy one. I know there are many guys here that could make that look a hundred times more realistic than the one in the story.
Snake45
I've got some nice 1:1 scale guns--Walther P.38 and Smith & Wesson M29 .44 Magnum. There was a whole series of these from Japan 30 or 40 years ago. I wish I'd bought more of them when they were available.
Chuck Most
You would think that with a 1:1 scale plastic model, they could make it not look so much like plastic. That's true, but I think it actually be less cool looking if it were more realistic. For me, the "big model" look it has is what makes it work. Harry P.
I guess it would make a cool display piece if you had a "man cave" big enough... but other than that, I don't see any point to it.
Quick GMC
I think it's great for what Harry said. next to the jukebox or pool table, or as a cheap display somewhere.
