DeeCee Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Great job, with a lot of nicely done small details, very cool.
Lunajammer Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Wonderful. It rings true. Just curious what your preferred weathering technique is?
Mister Twister Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Wonderful. It rings true. Just curious what your preferred weathering technique is? Thanks guys, Mike...My preferred and favorite way of weathering has always been dry brushing with acrylic craft paint (the kind you can find at Michaels) followed by a dusting of shaved pastel dust and then a misted (not sprayed) coating (more than one coat) of Dullcote. Thanks again!
christian-w Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Excellent washing and the old look is awesome! The rust, the running boards and so on. Really great!
Mister Twister Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 Thanks guys....For me this is a stress busting type of build and it takes the pressure off of the shiny projects. Anyway, I managed to get a Top 10 award for this truck last Saturday at the Billet Proof show held at the Don Garlits Museum in Ocala FL.
