  1. Nice to finally see more accurate scale renditions of this truck series showing up (3D) to justify the time and expense involved in building one
  2. Days that are good bring happiness and days that are bad bring experience.
  3. No one needs our roses when the sun of life's gone down, if you're going to send a message of love, send it now... (paul overstreet)
  4. Later sometimes becomes never... do it now
  5. Looks like it may have roots in the the old revell custom van molds. The wheel and tire combo is kinda appealing.
  6. So much for our half dozen weeks of nice warm weather... beautiful sunny morning and 65 until about two, then the cool stuff moved in and it's adios to the warmth for a while. Kind of a strange pattern but it's that time of year when anything can happen and we're used to the 'wait five minutes, it'll change'.
  7. '80s cars, early in the decade, showed the stirrings of a new horsepower race.
  8. Size difference is mostly in door length; too bad there wasn't an improvement in the grill, a la amt '69.
  9. Sentences can be more effective when they include logic, emotion, image and promise in addition to plain facts.
  10. ... or maybe 'This too shall pass'
  11. If you're going through hell, keep on going.
  12. As the 1:1 cars have identical shells, it's a safe bet they'll be using the interior bucket and chassis from their '65 comet for their stock version; with, of course, a '64 dash most likely heisted from the craftsman amt '64. The cad pics show that they re using the '66/'67 firewall copied from the amt comet/fairlane as well with the modified chassis plate. If someone wasn't taking advantage of the heavy lifting done by someone else, there's a pretty good chance we wouldn't be seeing the variety of new kits we are now 😜 ... not that it makes it right, but it's plain one manufacturer needed the boost when it became evident their design staff wasn't quite up to par on a particular truck project. Their other projects seem to be working out well.
  13. Problems properly stated are half solved.
