  1. Well, I will wait until the Tamiya Stickers are on the shelf before I make any more judgements on it. Will it be better than bare metal foil? Who knows, we will just have to wait and try it. But I know this, all my bare metal foil is pretty dead. The shelf life on it is horrible and hopefully Tamiya has fixed that. Out local IPMS show is on the first of June, and Tamiya will have a booth there. Hopefully they have some on hand to take a look at it.
  2. Well, considering that we originally started using Testors Silver, then graduated to Bare Metal Foil, and most now use Sharpie Silver Pens or Molotov Pens, this is a good option. And most, if not all, window trim was stainless steel, not chrome. And it does look shiny enough in that test pic. And given that it is Tamiya, the quality issues experienced with Bare Metal are most likely not there. I am sure Tamiya will eventually expand it to shinier material as time goes on.
  3. Well, it does say "Aluminum Stickers", so.... 🙂

  5. The ad popped up Instagram and I checked it out. Yes, prices too good to be true! How can this be? So I called the number they provided, it was for a hobby shop back east that had a answering machine saying it was not their ad and they where not responsible for people trying to buy from it. And please don't leave a message about it!
  6. Rest easy, Snake Vaya Con Dios
  7. I remember someone telling me that the SSlasher kit still had most of the part for the Chevelle Street Funny Car, and I wonder if they are still there? Pity they won't back date it to the '71 model.
  8. Maybe it is time to upgrade to a newer alternator. You might find the info you seek here.. https://ratsun.net/forum/19-electrical/
  9. Not here in San Diego, they still have the same stuff!
  10. Looks like the current assortment at any Michael's craft store. The same things they've had for years!
  11. It is a "Short Nose" Z. I think it is just the way the grill insert is sitting that is throwing people off.

  13. I am surprised, but not by much, that Revell gave up these molds as they last used it in 2011!
