  1. Peteski, thanks for the info on plastic types. What type of adhesive WILL stick to polypropolene plastics? I have found no consumer products that will adhere to that stuff. Thanks!
  2. Is there a faster setting method that will grab and hold quicker?
  3. In working with resin bodies, you generally don't have the luxury of molded plastic windows. Some providers can provide vacuum formed windows but often I am left with creating them out of acetate sheet. Gluing them in without making a total mess is often the hardest part of a build. Anybody with any great suggestions?
  4. Thanks! I'm having a hard time getting acetate windows glued in without making a total mess of things. Any suggestions?
  5. Just a general question about using epoxy, Steve. After you mix it, do you apply it with toothpicks and do you let it tack for a minute before assembly?
  6. Who did the wheels and tires? Another super clean build.
  7. Looks great, Gerald. I have a soft spot for green cars and that was a beautiful GM color.
  8. Got the foil done and started decals. I had three sets of decals and two sets disintegrated. I took the remaining details and coated them with three coats of clear lacquer, which stabilized them. I got one side moved too far and so am waiting on another replacement set to finish it. They were too large and had to be shortened to fit so a major headache.
  9. Captures the street freak vibe to a tee. Very nicely done!
  10. Is there any way to remove decals after they have set without destroying them?
  11. Great idea which I will try. Where did you get the punches?
