dantewallace
This was a pretty nice kit with great fit and finish, downside.....very small parts and I found myself using tweezer's on some of the steps. It's been awhile since I've used this much BMF and I forgot how fun it is to use the stuff.

Joe Handley
Considering my fondness for their 1/10 R/C Mini, I really need to buy one of those kits too. Great looking build! Edited December 25, 2013 by Joe Handley
dantewallace
Considering my fondness for their 1/10 R/C Mini, I really need to buy one of those kids too. Great looking build!I too love the Tamiya M chassis. I own the M01, 2, and 3 chassis and used to race them on weekends for about 6 years. I also participated in the mini class for Tamiya championship series. Excellent handling cars when they aren't top heavy and easily tuneable. I've got a 3 that currently has full bearings, Futaba 123 oz/in metal gear servo, full bearings, sticky HPI Mini RS4 tires, Tamiya red anodized oil filled sedan shocks, universal drive shafts, heavy diff grease, a Castle Sidewinder 1/4600kV 2 Pole combo juiced by an Orion 4000mAh 2s 25c pack and it is idioticly fast

Are you running the old HPI X pattern tires? Those are the hot ticket but are extremely hard to find. Running brushless is insane in those!! For our class we actually had to stop running brushless motors because of epic traction rolls and a few guys even put their cars through the drywall overshooting the corners of the track hahahaah. We now run four hole silver can motors on 2 S lipo.

Jordan 191
That foil work is so nice, especially the wheel arch trim. It really puts this build into the top-notch category.

Been meaning to try them on mine, but haven't yet. Forgot to mention earlier, I also used the M-05's front uprights and steering knuckles. Car now has a smaller turning radius and feels like it corners better.

dantewallace
Yeah, you got those at a good price. They seem to be cheap in general. My kit was $17 and I always see them for under $
