Hello.......some of you might know me as being crazy?.......but,this will be my first attempt at a Nascar build........I am always picking up kits for extra parts........this AMT Bobby Allison Matador kit is complete.......but,I am going to use some parts from the Earnhart kits.......to up date the Matador my way........the Matador will have the same paint scheme.......I like to build kits for myself...... in the end it may not be correct or accurate but.......it will be the way I like it........when I bought the Allison Matador the hood was glued to the body.......I opened up the hood and trunk and doors.......the doors are opened because I want to show detail into the interior.......I told you I was crazy :) .......hope you follow along .......I think I have some good ideas.

This one is going to be cool. With your talents, this will be the best AMC Matador, I've seen in this scale... Really great job so far, can't wait to see more. It's very interesting to see, how this turns out.

OK... Gonna put my foot in my mouth.

Your work is amazing John... so by no means a criticism.... but isn't the Matador 1/25 scale and the Revell Nascars 1/24? Can't help thinking those tires look a little big for the body.

Maybe the AMT 1/25 scale Nascar wheels and tires would work better? Or maybe those are the Matador wheels and tires and the camera makes them look bigger?

Or maybe..... I'll just shut up and watch the progress....

Tony

Ohh, oh, oh, oh...... Now my head hurts. I tried to envision the finished product, finished to your usual level of detail... The detail level caused a caranial overload... :P :P :( I am so looking forward to this one! Mr. Teresi, you are a wizard! We await the outcome with bated breath.

As usual your work is fantastic!!!! Your detail work, especially with the smaller and smallest of stuff is mind blowing. I havent been at model building for very long. But hopefully one day I can detail that nice. Im looking forward to seeing another one of your builds.

The aluminum (if thats what it is, it looks like it) is a real cool touch around your gauges too.

Thanks

Ron
