This seems to be a well run, pleasant forum, and I look forward to being here. I am 67 yo and retired. I have been building model's since I was able to play with glue. The big step was when AMT came out with those great kits in 1958. What a great toy for an 11 year old. Two eye surgeries have slowed my car modeling abilities, but still have lots of kits and parts boxes to get back to. Model cars and Lionel trains, just GREAT being a kid again! I missed out on those wonderful old kits from that era, so I've been accumulating & building them much to my delight. It really has re-kindled my 40 + year love for the hobby.
