PappyD340
This is my 3rd installment in my1966 Fairlane Series if you will, a 66 Fairlane GTA (automatic). Completely out of box stock not even plug wires thought I had some but I am out, got to restock Color is Duplicolor Performance White with Rustoleum 2x clear, interior is Krylon Banner red and of course BMF. The only thing that did not come in the box was the wheels which I switched out from a 66 mustang fastback. Thanks for looking and as always comments welcomed!! PappyD340
Thanks guys Lee: yes I thought about the centers on the wheels and that's as far as it got, but I will have to do that as far as the gauges I bought the gauge face off of Ebay from a seller named Best model car parts they have gauge faces for several different cars and trucks they are printed on gloss paper and you just cut them out like a decal and use a little white glue, they also have license plates for several different states. PappyD340
Thanks so much guys, the encouraging comments mean a lot! Mark Chris Jim Ray Gary Tom Bruce Jeremiah Peter: If my memory serves me correctly, you are the one who told me about using BMF to mask, sand through, and paint and remove BMF, this method really works for me, I have used this method on the last 4 builds I've done!! geetee66
Very nice indeed! Very clean and crisp build. You did this kit real justice! I've used the foil-before-paint technique. It works like a charm...as yours did!
