  2. Hey Nick, This W/T looks great!!! I love the manuals in the interior.Did you just reduce and print those also?? Nice touch!!! It looks like you are getting better and better at this hobby. I have a suggestion for you with the pics.Check and see if your camera has a light balance adjustment for indoor lighting. That will make all your pics the correct color. You are really getting good with the engine bay.You are miles ahead of where I was at that age. Very Nice Job,Nick and keep modeling.
  3. Hi, Go with the 330.It is a great kit, but, if you are going to make it a street machine, you will have to add windshield wipers. As it being a S/S car it did not have any. I made one as a street machine and it looks nice!!!
  4. Hi Steve, check out this site. The guy is very nice and there is a section with walls in it and other diorama parts. http://myinbox.com/photos/escort500xl
  5. WOW Chuck,That is a super paint!!!! This is one of my favorite funny cars of that era!!!! I can't wait for the rest of the build and hope you post pics of the finished car.
  6. Hi Mike, welcome to the best forum on the web!!!! You will find that good people will reply to this with great ideas. Are you wanting to scratchbuild the stands?? You can find them on evilbay for a good price. There are several diorama resin casters that have them also. One that comes to mind that might have them is Scale modeling by Chris. There is another caster that I can't think of that is good also.If you want,I can find his site and send it to you. If you are going a different way, good luck to you as I can't help you there.I have trouble scratchbuilding my food!!! :P
  7. Harry, This is so weird, it has to be real.
  8. Hi Jerry!! Welcome back to the best hobby in the world!! :D WOW! If this is an old build,I can't wait to see your current ones. Very nice.I like the detail level. I love the old diggers and hope you post many more.
  9. Very nice job on these Pro Stocks!!! I love this kind of builds, using decals to make a build of a kit not made by the company.I think if Revell made some new P/S kits, they would sell well.
  10. Congrats Matt!!! That looks like a great kit.And , to get it for what you did is incredible!! :D Please post pics of the build as you go and the finished one. I love that car and have been trying to find one I can afford. Very nice luck!!!
  11. Nick, It looks great sitting in my garage!!!!! I put it next to my Ferarri FXX. You are talking about pictures,RIGHT??
  12. I hear you. I find it amusing that someone could spend that much money on an item such as this and you have people as myself that have to work 2 jobs to pay our bills. It is different to look at!!!
  13. Hey everyone, Check this out,it is incredible!!! http://www.tgdaily.com/games-and-entertainment-features/49663-1936-bugatti-sells-for-40-million I think it is interesting.
  14. Hi Terry!! Welcome back to the hobby!!! Very nice job on the rail.I did the same one a few years ago, and, loved the build. Now you have to post more!!! :D
  15. :D Hey Harry, This is just my opinion but I just don't care for the ID part. I always have no idea what it is and don't have the google skill or time to try to find it.I guess I will just have to take a break on these weeks. I do love the ROM and will look forward to it!!!
  16. I see that several of you use the gray primer. Why do you use gray instead of white, for a cleaner color.Do you tone down the top coat with the gray?
  17. Hi Gregg, I agree 100% with you on this. You, Harry, and Pat do a great job on the magazine and on this forum. You will not see me post on ant inflaming threads.I enjoy building models and seeing other's builds.I love to browse here to get ideas and learn tips.I am sure my skill level is not up for posting pics due to health.but,I am getting better with what I learn here. I have a nice stash and probably not live long enough to build them all.Oh well. I really do appreciate all the work you do.It is the best forum on the net.I used to be a subscriber a while ago,and probably reup as the LHS that carried it closed(Model Mania).I just have to fit it in my budget. :D Thank you Gregg,Harry, and Pat for doing a tough job. Now,back to browsing and building. :D
  18. OK Harry, You are making them tougher and tougher to try to figure out.I went with real on this one.Something about the windscreen and tires. I am probably wrong but it is a lot of fun to try.We need this in light of the recent events.
  19. Hey Gregg, this is a great start to a much needed segment of our forum.Whenever a new or reissue is out,I know a lot of modelers would love to see this type of review.
  20. Hey Gregg, I would love to see the pics, but, the link sends me to a login page.
  21. Hey Monty!!!! Are you FULL!!! If you have a Harbour Freight store near you, check it out. I have one about 3 miles from me and there are good finds there.I got a visor there with an optional extra round eyepiece that is GREAT!!! I think it was about $15-20 and works great.I use it all the time as I am an old fart and need the added vision. Hope this help.Sorry, don't know the name of it.
  22. WHOO HOOOO!!!! I think I am first today!!!! I voted model on this one. Something about it just yells this to me.
  23. Hey Harry, I went with model this week.Something about the door handle and the molding around the windows. We shall see Friday!!!
