maltsr Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Built mainly OOB, but lowered slightly and covered with Tamiya Blue Pearl and Pearl White
wayne swayze Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 That's REALLY nice! Very clean and smooth! Great colour also!
Againmikewins Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 What a great color! My two cents, the wheel covers are very distracting. Maybe add a wash to them?
GTJUNIOR Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Very nice truck, but I have to agree with Michael, the wheel covers could be toned down a bit.
Harry P. Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Ditto on toning down the wheel covers with a wash. They are too "in your face" as is. But aside from that, nice work!
62rebel Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Round 2 made a big deal out of those covers and I have yet to understand why. Too fussy by far, even if they are era-correct. Olds flippers would be so much better to have new examples of... ANYWAY, that is a really sharp looking build. Don't forget to add the fuel filler!
TarheelRick Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I have often wondered what one of these would look like with the kit custom pieces added, now I know. WOW!! Excellent job on this one and that blue paint job is just mind-blowing. I think I must agree on the too much bling on those wheels; however, it is your model and if you are happy with it so be it.
Southside Customs Garage Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Nice work Paul, look smooth, ready to drive...
