JollySipper Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Finally finished this up today! I call it "The Scarlet Harlot"..... Pretty much everything but the body parts is from the custom coupe. There's a WIP in the proper section for those interested. Thanks for looking, and all comments are welcome........
Mercuryman54 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Great looking build. I like it!! Nice color.
Phildaupho Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Sweet 48. Wish I had a car that looked this back in High School!!
Ken Kitchen Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Wow, talk about art imitating life. Here's my 1:1 46 coupe. I'm planning on replacing the wheels. Your model is giving me ideas.
JollySipper Posted September 12, 2017 Author Posted September 12, 2017 Thank you, guys! Wow, talk about art imitating life. Here's my 1:1 46 coupe. I'm planning on replacing the wheels. Your model is giving me ideas. WOW! If I hadn't omitted the stone guards and vent windows, it would look exactly the same!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I like the end result. The color suits the car, and the wide whites are classy.
JollySipper Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Thanks for all the nice replies! I put a lot of effort into this one...... Some things I forgot to mention, the paint is all duplicolor, black primer, Toreador Red, and their Perfect Match clear.......... The Keystones are the large rear wheels from the '68 Charger kit......
espo Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Great looking build. This is how these coupes should look.
