Why do I love this truck so much?

Yes, I know it's not a "real" truck anymore. 

But I think this thing is awesome. And he does use it to haul stuff for his business.

Not sure how it isn't "real"... it appears to be casting a shadow, and if it rolled over your foot I'm certain it would seem real enough.

By "real truck" I mean that it's no longer a workhorse. It's GVWR is drastically reduced, those wheels/tires limit where it can haul, and it has the capabilities of a chassis cab one ton pickup!

 

It is most definitely real and in existence though! Google Jason Thorbecke or Thorbros.com. Tons of build pics and other pics.

 

And apparently, lowered Loadstars is now a a thing. And this Thorbecke guy does a few of them!

This is Jason Thorbecke’s truck. He does a lot of bagged stuff and has an amazing S10 back half kit. Truck is cool, I’ve seen it in person

I like it. Lowered trucks are my favorite. Not a big fan of the large wheels/low profile tires but it's still a nice looking truck.
