Adhsdad
Looking to see if anyone has a spare 16 th scale Wire lacing tool that Micro Nitro used to offer for the "bicycle tire" front rims that they used to sell. Thanks, Ep

iBorg
Pictures would allow it to possibly be recreated.
gasser59
I have one buried somewhere in my hobby room. I'll take a good look around for it in the next few days. And no, I don't want to get rid of it. Edited December 2, 2018 by gasser59

iBorg
A photo might help us to fabricate one.
gasser59
No. I put it in a safe place, so safe, in fact, its hidden from me. I'll keep looking.

TooOld
A few years ago I was working with Ted's Modeling and I made this fixture for Micro Nitro's 1/25th wire wheels . I still have all of the drawings and instructions for both 1/25th and 1/16th scale wheels .
gasser59
Very cool Bob. What metal parts did you use for the hub portion and outer rim?
Codi
Now THAT'S precision. Great job on those Bob. I have a 1/25th lacing tool that I bought from micronitro several years ago. Never used it. Won't be of any help to Errol however. Sorry, tim

The written instructions are lengthy and can be a bit confusing so I posted the photos to Fotki . One picture is worth a thousand words right ? Here's the link . jeff f
Earlier this year I built some 1/8 scale 18" wires . Hub and rim made from aluminum , wires are .015 music wire. Decided on 36 spoke wheel and built a jig. I bent .050 length of the wire 90 degrees to hook the hub. A real challenge for sure.
RAT-T
THOSE LOOK GREAT JEFF, HOW DID YOU ATTACH THE SPOKE TO THE RIM?
Mooneyzs
Jeff.... those are some NIce wire wheels. They look great. I would Loce to try and lace some wheels some time. Would love to see what you are going to put these on.
Mike Chernecki
Those look great, but is there an alternative to using music wire. Last time I used music wire for something, it started to rust and eventually disintegrated.

I was intending on writing and drawing up instructions for using it.
