fordf-100 Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 I finished this up a few days ago, I got this kit at our model club auction for $6, it was partially built and painted. The paint was a very dull green metallic that was really bland looking, almost looked like olive drab! The windows were glued in with some glue marks all around the edge. The chassis, engine and interior were painted all pretty nice. I got the windows out and polished them and they look ok. I thought I would try some new clear that I got and sprayed it thru my airbrush and this is how it came out! I think it looks pretty good, it really darkened the color but I like it! I used a set of Fireball modelworks dog dish hubcaps and rims and some AMT parts pack tires, I like the look these wheels give it! Comments and always welcome! Thanks for looking!
espo Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Looks great. I like the poverty caps. This is a no nonsense looking model.
Snake45 Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Nice save! Reminds me of some of my own "toy show rescues." Well done and model on!

TransAmMike Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Can't fault anything with your build Phillip, great color and paint job on a pretty obscure car. Love it!!
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Looks like a factory color to me! Great deal for 6 bucks!
