otherunicorn Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 It looks like it was made by (Redacted) - none the less, I can't find it, no matter what I search for!
peteski Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 I can't decide if this thing is cute or ugly. I originally had the same feelings about the first generation Scion xB (Toyaota bB) I owned for 12 years, but then it grew on me. I miss that car (aka. fridge, toaster, box).
carsntrucks4you Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) It seems that this one isn't easy. So let me give you a hint. It is special designed for mail delivery and it can drive in the same speeed forward and backwards. So that should be enough for a hint. Edited December 8, 2020 by carsntrucks4you

GeeBee Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 It helped when I used to own the vehicle it was based on....
carsntrucks4you Posted December 14, 2020 Author Posted December 14, 2020 The solution of autoquiz 501 is: 1968 - 1971 Kalmar-DAF or Torjven as it was called in Sweden. This viehicle was the result of a request of the Swedish Post. They were looking for a car to deliver mail. It is based on a DAF 44, while the protoype was based on the DAF 33. A total of 2170 cehicle were build. Most of them fro Swedish Postal Service. The car in the picture was used by the Netherlöands Postal Service.
