Rockford Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 That's a great looking rig. I always thought Ford did some great looking machines, but they never got the credit they deserved. The grille on that cabover is immense! The Louisville was a great looking conventional when it was all dressed up too. I remember a red and white one on the front of their brochure and I just fell in love with it. That transkit looks super clean or have you just done loads of work on clean-up? Whatever, it's a fantastic result. Two-holes look good too. Isn't it funny that truckers spent a fortune dressing up their rigs and we spend as much dressing them down!
gotnitro? Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Man thats a gorgeous Ford ! The colors work perfectly together.
Sergey Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Well done, Brian! I hope it is not too late to say that wiper arms need some more bending each side.

They really draw attention to themselves. The kit itself was easy to work with. Just minimal cleanup was required on the cab. All the other pieces were flawless.

Thank you. Yes, you are correct. The material is so brittle though. I will probably be replacing these at some point.
Dutzie Posted February 7, 2021 Author Posted February 7, 2021 Getting closer. Fuel tanks and boxes are on. Still some touch up and detail painting to go. I am also working on straightening the stacks and looking for new wipers.
doorsovdoon Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Man, that looks good. Very clean build, I really like the colours especially the matt look on the frame.

Mopar - D Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Excellent build Brian. Looks great on your road way to. I’m hoping that they reissue them again I could use about 5 more of them.
bigred63 Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Brian, what a great looking Model! Your paint job is awesome, and the white wheels, just make it all pop out!

I guess it might be too tricky to find 2 parallel wiper arms amoung PE wipers. You better leave these. One more thing: will you paint black middle line between grills? SpreadAxle Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 (edited) That is an outstanding build. I love your paint job. It makes me want to build mine, but I'm saving it for a later project, Edited February 17, 2021 by SpreadAxle
