Maindrian Pace
Recently bought an AMT '67 Corvette kit in the box from an Ebay seller. The box had a few things from other kits, including this mystery grille. Looks like an '80s Toyota truck, likely a toy but who knows. Can anyone identify it? Steamboat
First generation Chevy S-10?
espo
The center design resembles a GMC truck grill maybe from the square body era. Could be the grill option out of one of the old 3 in 1 kits from long ago.
Casey
Not out of an American kit, IMO, unless it's from Lindberg. Japanese manufacturer, possibly a 1/32 ish scale caricature type car? Those huge, protruding bumper caps say "abuse me", so maybe a track-bound car if some type, STOMPER type truck or similar. Ruler for scale, please. Backside pic would help, too. Yellow plastic under the plating?
Maindrian Pace
Yes, I should have mentioned the size. It's approximately 1:24 scale, 3 1/8" total width, black plastic under the plating. AMT '62 Galaxie for scale. It really says Japanese pickup to me, but with the number of less than accurate toys, anything is possible. Mark
Looks like a toy piece, but one about the right size, and interesting enough, to work into a custom van project...
stitchdup
It sorta looks like a late 70s/early 80s full size car like a lincoln or something with the indicators on the sides of the fenders
Maindrian Pace
Nissan Hardbody perhaps?
Casey
It's so generic looking, but definitely has that late '70s/early '80s cheap (because, no headlights which light up) R/C truck.
