papajohn97 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Beautiful clean accurate build of a kit I never get tired of seeing built and displayed here. Something about the styling and stance of these ‘64-65 Comets, they just look like they’re screaming by even when they’re standing still. You did a particularly nice job on your window frame foil work and slightly orangey red metallic looks good with the yellow decals. I’m about to start this same Dyno Don comet and hope I do half as a good a job as you’ve done on yours. 1

The foil is almost a necessary evil for me. It's far from perfect but much better than I can do with paint and shaky hands. I look forward to seeing yours.

happy grumpy Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 A really nice build, and the color is right in my favorite range. That engine is a real power house. great work.
Metalmad Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Awesome job ! I actually just started to build this kit a few days ago.

Lobo2me Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Nice job. Brings back memories of going to my first drag race and seeing Dyno Don in Eliminator I.
Kromolly Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I'm glad this resurfaced, I missed it last fall. Really nicely done and beautiful looking model. Great color choice. I have to look for this kit now!
