I just got home and a package was waiting for me. Several 1/8 scale transmissions; two Muncie 4-speeds, two Powerglides, and a 6L80E. The old school transmissions are for a friend in New Zealand. My half of a trade with him. The 6L80E is for me. In real life, I would like to put the 6-speed behind a Mercedes-Benz M119 DOHC 5.0 to go in a 1987 190E.

These parts blow my mind. They look as good as any injection molded parts. The support “dots” are mostly in unseen areas. If they need to be removed from a surface that gets glued, it’s easy to do, and unseen after assembly.

Muncie 4-speed

I sent for a couple of engines and I was quite impressed! I’ve had a stagnant Maverick project and a plan for a Ford F150.

I may now be looking at a LSX for my logo Vega!

I’ll be sure to write these up in my column!

nice stuff!

I think the procharged LSX would look fantastic if it's a drag car

Wylde made the split front bumper and grille. I made the hood. Norm Veber cast extras! Interior was restored from an original build with a few mods! Oh…the paint has been polished already.

Nice George! This is the station wagon that I would love to see kitted. I'm assuming this is a resin kit. are you selling any of these anymore?

Mike,

I never did this wagon. It came from Ronnie at Southern Motorsports. I did fill in the tail lights and Wylde did make me surface mount lights.

I feel bad that I hijacked this Texas 3 D thread. However, I did order a big block for my logo car and will update you all in a separate thread. Where did I order this engine? Texas 3D. Least I could do!  Lol! Stay tuned!

Just received my latest order from Texas 3D Customs and again am totally blown away. Got a couple of Econoline seats, couple of Powerglides, and an injected Ford SOHC. IMHO these pieces should be displayed in the Louvre art museum, they are that beautiful. Now I just need to find my workbench, get it cleaned off, and get busy building.

I received the engine and transmissions that were ordered just before the holidays, they look very crisp in detail. Don’t think I can build as fast as you can print so tale your time.

Well it's the amount of people that are building using them. I don't do the limited time or special edition game so as I expand I continue to dig myself in deeper. But as I said I am going full time and hopefully I will make ends meet. I understand I will be doing a lifestyle change, but there's more to life than money.
