bluestringer Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Calling it done, warts and all. Did not come out as planned, had a few set backs, but it's ok. I lost one of the front turn signal lights moving it to the photo spot, have not found it yet. And I noticed the rear bumper is a crooked, I'll need to fix that. I used the 67 Chevelle Pro Street frame, only took a little modification to fit under the 55 body, and the wheels and tires are from the Chevelle. I also used the BBC engine from the same kit. It fit ok but there was not enough room at the front of the engine bay to mount a fan without it hitting the radiator, so I flipped the radiator and added a electric fan to the front. I've seen this done in 1:1 and the fan has to be a pusher, not a puller. Paint is Createx Phat Halo Green. 3
TransAmMike Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Looks good James. Get that rear bumper straightened and call it done.
espo Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Great looking build. I like how you adapted the chassis to this body, and it looks like it belongs here.

Bainford Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Nice kitbash. The big block Chevy looks right at home. A good looking build, despite the issues. Well done.
