gasman Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 (edited) These are 1:20 scale from AMT, from the TV show Yellowstone, I’ve never seen the show so I know nothing about it, but I wouldn’t mind a 1:25 Dodge Ram like that Edited September 21, 2022 by gasman 1
Smoke Wagon Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 A plastic model kit of any modern side by side would be nice. Great for dioramas as well as trailer loads. Horse trailer and Ram would be great as a combo kit.
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Even as diecast, if it were 1/24-1/25, I'd buy 'em!
Mr. Metallic Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Never seen these before, but where is the scale listed?
stitchdup Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 You can find 3d prints of the side by sides, i think iceman had something similar a couple of months ago
iamsuperdan Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 Yup, 3D files are available for both 2 seat and 4 seat side by sides. I'm considering trying one. There's also a Ram 3500 Megacab duallie available for 3D printing. And A&N Model Trucks has a Ram 3500 crewcab duallie available now.
stavanzer Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 These look like they were scaled by the marketing dept. They are "Shelf Scale" to best fit the boxes, marketing had already designed. Sad. Limits sales to just Yellowstone fans.
Robberbaron Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Looks like these are manufactured by another company and rebranded as AMT: https://actionfarmtoys.com/products/439bc-1-20-dodge-ram-3500-mega-cab-dually-pickup Search 1/20 toy horses and you will understand the reason for the scale selection by the actual manufacturer. Guessing Round 2 saw an opportunity and paired up with the manufacturer to put together the showbiz licensing for this.
Brian Austin Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 On the bright side, you can park these with your 1:20 Lindberg and AMT kits. ? Oddly enough, years ago someone complained on a large scale model railroad forum that there weren't enough model cars to go with his 1:20 scale trains.
