stavanzer Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Very, very nice work. A clean, sharp build.
Dragline Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Looks like a winner. No seriously...there is a trophy on the roof so I assume it won...
bbowser Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Great job on the weathering, very convincing!
Joe Nunes Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 (edited) Looking like a winner! ? Joe Edited January 12, 2023 by Joe Nunes
Pierre Rivard Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Beautiful build. Looks like it has seen some racing action. Well done!
TonyK Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 That color would stand out on the track. I like the bit of weathering. Really adds to the model.
happy grumpy Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Nice and cool, I like the subtle weathering and the after race look.
Horrorshow Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Great build… did you use different wheels and tires than the ones that came with the kit? Some of those the tires look too big, yours looks just right ?
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 (edited) I really like that a lot. Seriously mean looking competition car. Did you thin the panel edges at the wheel openings, hood scoops, etc.? I ask because the body gives the best impression of thin sheetmetal hung on a purpose-built race chassis I' ve ever seen. Thanks! Yes I thin down all visible edges on the body and hood, I even removed the “chrome trim” moulding to get the Apillars thin like I seen in some references of dirt cars with no windows 1
Bainford Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Seriously cool short tracker. Very nicely done. Love it.
bogger44 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Most excellent build, just the right amount of dirt/grime and love the mods to the body. I may have to give that a try when I build mine.
Stingray wes Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 This is great! Got to ask, did you build the trophy? 3D print?
