gbtr6 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) Starting work on the Tameo Williams FW07, Regazzoni. It’s pretty simple, no engine. Nice detail and fit, typical Tameo high quality. The green decal looks all wrinkly but it looks great in person. Perry Edited February 27, 2023 by gbtr6 1
Belugawrx Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Is this 1:43rd scale...? It could fit on my pointer finger? I admire your work sir !.
gbtr6 Posted February 27, 2023 Author Posted February 27, 2023 It is 1/43. I am trying to get better at clean building. I have to have patience, and use tools. Perry
ctruss53 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Nice little build. I have been scared to try builds this small. Kudos for doing a great job on it.
gbtr6 Posted March 8, 2023 Author Posted March 8, 2023 Some more progress. Tameo kits are engineered well, and go together like Tamiya kits, just smaller. They are intense, need to only work on it a few hours then walk away. There is photo etch sides to the cockpit, and the brakes are made of 6 pieces. I like the vented detail. Hard to see. Perry
TonyK Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Looks real nice so far. I built some 1/43rd metal kits when I was younger and enjoyed them for something different. I look forward to the finished model.
Bugatti Fan Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Lovely little model taking shape here. Tameo have an enviable reputation in the world of 1/43rd, so a very good starting point for your model.
Bugatti Fan Posted March 30, 2024 Posted March 30, 2024 Did you get to finish this model Perry? Your thread only goes so far with the build.
