Tony Nancy roadster

Hi all…I was able to finish the roadster today from the Tony Nancy double kit. It’s been about a year I guess since building the silver car. This one fought me a little, just as the other did, but all in all it went pretty well. I wasn’t sure about the color shade of this car but I had some leftover Tamiya Italian red, so why not use it up! Both cars look great next to each other I think! As always thanks for looking and comments are welcome and appreciated 😊😊3B3EAE94-5613-4DB5-88B8-230D8C741C26.thumb.jpeg.dbb9fdce5d197596d9f2062b531fbfa3.jpeg62C3710D-2B11-454F-A66F-3D5A6FF5AEBF.thumb.jpeg.13ac438eba4378db25cf133ab2277bdf.jpeg5635D027-BE74-41E2-921A-CB35A3E69FAD.thumb.jpeg.ae7c6e14e2b332eca83fd489def2469d.jpeg57661EDE-FB25-463A-B52F-584F2607C327.thumb.jpeg.505f184703e8b93033791e9300fe8876.jpeg4A8F264E-7D14-4664-8351-9F3E50CC1CF0.thumb.jpeg.0f2f4772798570279a3f72738b245226.jpegA830588B-4E88-40F4-859E-0906968F2D70.thumb.jpeg.82351b63b4a38d960a59bfdeb6635c26.jpeg782DC83B-FD9C-44C9-A210-6E6F1AF605AA.thumb.jpeg.b46c2eefd711d655a0d72a9cc7703746.jpegB6536F54-F40C-4375-A2B3-5B6498DD16EF.thumb.jpeg.e1d8b9f3b89919108f6868daab52dd27.jpeg8756F453-1800-45F7-8C3F-FADE4A833F28.thumb.jpeg.f15c27f03d0df4e064257cc20183387a.jpeg64A0E8CC-BD8E-45F6-8A2A-DF61B74A90C8.thumb.jpeg.9f05d3f6a699ced62395a32baa035cc6.jpeg

The color is fine. The photos of back in the day tend to fade over time so it`s difficult to get the color right. That said you take your best shot and you did great! Nice models!

Thanks guys, appreciate it 👍👍 You can look at 10 old photos of the same vehicle and it’ll be 10 different shades lol 😊

A Dynamic Duo for sure! Those are tough kits I'm told. You did a great job on em'. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Yep they’re a little finicky but not the worst for sure. Patience is needed.

Both are beautiful. Nice clean work. It's good to see these old Revel kits built with care and attention. Lovely work all around.

The silver dragster is my favourite of the 60s slingshots. I have the Tony Nancy double kit on the shelf, and that dragster is calling out to me every time I'm at the bench. I'll have to get that one built soon.  Seeing the nice work on yours is certainly inspiration.

Thanks for the kind words, yes go ahead and build them, they’re great looking kits and fun for sure! I too love the silver car, just a really nice looking car 👍

Those two models look Great.  Nice job.  You had to be a little crazy back in the day to drive that red one down the track.  If that rear end let go your boys were in for a world of hurting 😋

Thanks! Yep it took more guts than I would’ve had back then lol 😂
