Here is Cooter's wrecker that was used in the 1st season of The Dukes of Hazzard. Scratch built wrecker parts & more, Iceman Cooter figure & 69 grill.

Absolutely fantastic job. I wish I could paint my models half as well as you painted Cooter! All the weathering and details on the truck, figure and entire diorama could pass for the real deal. Super cool!

Thanks Mike, when it comes to making something look worn I can paint. But if I wanted to paint something to look nice, forget it.

Wow, it looks spot on! Never knew Cooter had that low cost C 20 wrecker. Great attention to details, inside of bed is perfect!

Thanks Tommy, they only used this truck in season 1 for 4 or 5 episodes.

That's outstanding work.  I had no idea Cooter had any earlier rig.

Thanks Steve, yah it's not his most recognized wrecker.

Great job McCook!

Please forgive my ignorance, but what base kit did you start from?

Hey Ken, thanks. I started with the new reissue AMT 72 Chevy Coca Cola kit. I should have mentioned it in the description but I was lazy & didn't feel like typing.??

Great job on the truck and Cooter! What paint and color did you use for the truck?

Thanks Doyle! The paint is Rustoleum American Accents Nutmeg Satin straight out of the can. I wasn't sure about it at first but it grew on me.
