MrObsessive Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Very nice pics! However, this reinforces why I could never warm up to Fujimi's depiction of that car. The kit body doesn't have the right bulges and curves like the LeMans cars...........instead they just used the flatter body of the '66 Mark II car and tried to pass it off as the '68-'69 LeMans winners. I remember being at a classic car show a number of years ago and the guy who owned one fired it up and blipped the throttle a few times.... I ###### near had a crisis!!! I know that the 68/69 car (same chassis won both years) is a MKII, and the car Foyt won LeMans with was a MKIV. You can really see the differences between a MKI and II.
