Harry P.
Here we go with another exciting episode of...Real or Model! What do you think? The answer: MODEL! Edited December 7, 2007 by harrypri
Harry P.
I normally don't participate in these.... What changed your mind???
mr moto
Bad sign! I'm the only one so far who thinks it's real!

plasticgas
Put me down for "Model".
ismaelg
Model. An IMSA spec antenna that long would be VHF which is thinner. UHF would be that thick but way much shorter. If it's real, that's either a special lower freq antenna (maybe for testing or telemetry tests) or a non working show unit. Thanks,
Olle F
I'm not as scientific about it as Ismael, so I'll just say that the antenna "doesn't look right to me". And it might just be my failing eyesight, but it seems like the decals are slightly translucent and showing some of the body color. I vote for model. The Creative Explorer
Model, wheels are not deep enough, weird model. I would say the mulimedia wheelskit from MrModeller. The doors looks like they cannot be opened, so could be a Revell Enzo as base-model and the mentioned Antenna.
parki
Don't look right to me. The doors for one as Steef said, the tire markings are too shiny for my liking, and just doesn't look right the mirrors antenna decals etc. definitely going with model on this one. Modelmartin
That is so model car! IMSA on an Enzo? It looks like a Tamiya.
The Creative Explorer
Just noticed 5 wheelnuts in the center. Enzo has a central nut system.
ismaelg
IMSA on an Enzo? If an Enzo runs in IMSA ALMS it would be in GT1 category like the MC12 that ran in Atlanta, which is based on the Enzo. GTS would be the older category 2005 and before. So those are C6R decals. (The show car still had GTS decals on it) Also the ALMS logo changed for 2006/2007. That's a 2005 ALMS logo. But don't get me wrong, it looks GREAT! Thanks,
Zoom Zoom
It was screaming "model" to me even before the eagle-eyes showed their technical prowess

scummy
G,day , I say model as door openings don't seem right and are those phillips head screws holding wing to posts ? I say it's a remote control car . Cheer's .
VW Dave
I have no logical explanation as to my vote.....my usual M.O. .....but I voted 'real' this time.
Luis Ayala
I will say model, just because of the wiper, if you look closely it is barely touching the windshield in the center and that is a common mistake on model kits. The real car wiper frame is thinner and has a sectioned architecture to allow the blade to travel among the wide windshield contour.
bigphoto
I believe it is a model, a very well done model though!
gbdolfans
Harry,You are good!!! I voted real on this one. Some of the reasons given are valid as why it is a model. I think you are devious enough to use this pic so everyone will think it is a model.
Nick F40
I say, because of the proportions and the details look real........I dunno I have seen those wheels before, not sure real or not but also the lighting looks real.
Mike Whatshisname
REAL! Too many lights reflecting off the hood. If it was a model, I would think 1 light would be fine to photograph. There looks to be several acording to the reflection. Watch, I'll be totally wrong! Won't be the first time!
