59 Impala mild custom

[Porscheman]

Here's my 59 Chevy painted like a 58. I painted the car Tamiya's Semi-gloss black and Testors Bright Pink lacquer and then top coated with Tamiya's Clear Red. The clear red turned the semi-gloss black into black cherry. All glass was tinted with a light coat of clear red. The wheels and tires are from Monogram's Firebird.

The headlights are MV lenses.

Thanks again everyone for the nice comment. This is my last build for awhile, I'm having knee replacement Monday and won't be able to do the steps.

I wonder if my wife will let me set up a paint booth in our bedroom.?
