gotnitro? Posted February 3, 2015 Author Share Posted February 3, 2015 As promised..ITS PAINTED !!!! well, almost. The truck needed several layers , akin to a camo scheme , to achieve the final look. The silver is MM aluminum, chrome is Alclad, and the black is Tamiya lacquer . JT should love the stripes..heard he has a thing for orange! Its testors International orange..fitting for the Lonestar. Heres the pics.. laying down the stripes..time consuming, but better than a decal in my eyes.. If your planning to model the HD, you'll need to change the side panels on the hood. I filed the kit panels , then layed thin .010 strips for the new sides. These received a coat of Alclad chrome. Well, thats it for today !
