Chuck Most Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I had some tracks from a Rommell's Rod kit, and a resin '41 Plymouth inline six, an engine which was used in quite a few farm and industrial applications. An overactive imagination and close proximity of said parts led to this... Basically, I just wanted to build an old crawler that looked like it had been sitting for fifty years. The basic tractor is done, but I'm thinking of adding a hitch and a plow to it later on.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 WOW, that looks great, Chuck, and clearly an original addition to your collection. I haven't seen too many vehicles like it on the tables. Congrats.
AzTom Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 That is too cool. I love the way you make it look like real rusted metal, incredible. AzTom
george 53 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Cool,Chuck! You KNOW I like it!!! GREAT use of the tracks, ilove it!
Foxer Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Some more realistic rusting! . and a proper use for that old L-6.
59 Impala Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 WOW, that is nice. Now I know what Chris ment. I like it. Dan
robertw Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Let your imagination reign. Homebuilt tractors have always been common and this is a well done example of what might have been. robw
