  1. Thank you Bob and Ira. I highly recommend trying one of these type kits. Often the most (or only) difficult part is prepping the resin parts, depending on the kit and quality of the casting.
  2. I had been concentrating on cars since early this year so I switched back to my other modeling love and built these three Tamaki Kousaka kits more or less in tandem. (or would that be trident) The first one is my favorite pose, I tried for hours to paint her smile less rueful but in the end the shape of the resin won out. She's the biggest of the three, about 9 1/2 inches sitting whilst the next one is about the same standing. This one was pretty straightforward to build. I like how the blue came out. At about 7" this is the smallest (and sexiest) of the three. I think I got the basic colors right.
  3. She looks great! I've got this kit stashed away to build some day.
  4. That's some great work. I love to paint large scale (usually 1/8 to 1/5) figures but my nearly non-existent sculpting skills leave me limited to kits.
  5. Those are some very cool builds. I especially like the bommer. It looks like a blast to paint.
  6. Very classy, I think the colors are perfect.
  7. Fine build, the interior is a winner too.
  8. Fantastic! Very tough looking.

That looks great! Nice work all around.
  11. Thank you Jeff. The '36 looks cool James. It'll shape up nicely with the rear axle moved back.
  12. Looks very tough!
  13. Looks fine, I love the colors.
  14. Definitely a new look.
  15. Well done, I really like this version of the Batmobile best.
  16. Nice touch with the rust. Looks like you've got it nailed.

    55 CHEVY

    Gorgeous!!!
  18. Cool, I'm really looking forward to seeing that chopped '59.
  19. Thank you Richard. Lorenzo, I like it! The scallops and that green paint look sharp. I wish now I had put the holes in the visor on mine. Your '59 in the back looks sharp too. Here's my JF forced to fit the Polar Lights kit. (pass the bondo, please) You might like my zombie driven Doosey too. It was a bit of extremely ambitious scratch building for me at the time and I regret not making the cargo box a bit longer. You may recognize those curtains from the Boot Hill Express. (don't worry, I only cut up a "missing parts" kit I got for 3 bucks at a show.
  20. Thank you everyone! Lorenzo, I'm guessing you're a hearse fan. I've built a tiny few and I'm hoping to build some more in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing ratrod.
  21. Thank you Jason and Richard.
  22. Many thanks everyone!
  23. Thank you Doc, your excellent book was the inspiration for this build. I'm slowly making my way high gloss to deep rust.
