    Yes, on my 69 I was able to move the front and rear suspension around enough.

    Thank you, the hole in the roof wouldn't be a problem, and it doesn't have to be built as a stock vehicle either. A pro- touring car would work too. Thanks again.

    I'm wanting a 67-8 body to make a fastback , hopefully a AMT 67-8 Mustang chassis would fit. I know some of the older kits had pretty stock bodies on funny car chassis, was hoping to be able to use the body. Already did the 69

    Was able to slice off the molded in exhaust , replaced with some parts box pieces.

    Sliced off the molded in exhaust manifold. Found a header and 4Bbl intake in the part box, pretty sure they are for a slant six ,but they will work.

    Thanks , I'm still using the 6 and some other parts. I couldn't believe the chassis fit the AMX , only a small amount of trimming the wheel tub at the top.

    That must of been were they came from. Not sure if it had all 4 on it , but that means my Un- Monkeey was an old glue bomb!

    Thanks. I used the 69 Shelby roof, cowl ,engine ,engine compartment, interior and chassis. Not much of the Cougar was really used, just the lower body and chrome.
