  1. That's just not right, but it does look cool.
  2. Very cool, really like the interior.
  3. Thought of this when I saw yours!
  4. A little inspiration!
  5. It's on a S-10 chassis with a 4.3 , I got the S-10 for free . Going to get it going and enjoy it this summer. There is plenty of room for a V8 later . Of course it will be a Mopar!! Maybe built slant6.
  6. I really would like to see a 40's Dodge pick-up. Would be nice to build a model of mine , when I get it done.
  7. Thanks, the radiator and fans are mounted in the rear . That is what the holes are for in the rear door.
  8. Thank you . I saw yours , very cool. I made mine from the 56 just to be different, but also did the master for the resin body that Jimmy Flintstone sells.
  9. Thanks Steve.
  10. Thanks guys.
  11. Very cool , Dave Did you finish the Corvair van?
  12. Dave I pulled out the polar lights kit and the rear bumper doesn't have a step in it. It must be the AMT kit that the Revell 59 caddy rear bumper fits and eliminates the big step bumper. This is a picture of The Polar lights kit with molded in headlights. This is the Revell 59 Caddy bumper. And this is the Revell chassis. That is the best I can come up with. I don't have the AMT kit . I don't remember what happened to it but I remember putting the Revell rear bumper on it because it had a big step in it and it fit I can't remember if the Revell kit Grill fit the AMT kid or not. I've only got the polar light kit and the front bumper from the Revell kit. Hope that helps.
  13. Thanks Carl
  14. That's why I said he could have one!?
  15. I have these if you want one. Not sure if they would fit!
  16. Thank you, The 1:1 version is cool and I know it had to be a lot of work , so I don't want put down. It just doesn't look like the way a factory one would have looked to me. There are factory 4-door hard tops . I can't remember seeing any Mopars , maybe an Imperial or something. But not sure about any unibody cars being hard tops. I thought it was funny on the 1:1 car that they painted the door frames black too, a factory car would be body color or have chrome trim.
  17. I was having a real problem with the hood cracking when I polished the paint that I did have on it. Jimmy Flintstone cast me a couple hoods , but just couldn't get one to fit right . Ended up molding it all into one piece.May make a tilt front end or just stick a blower on top of the engine and cut lines in to look like a tilt front end. Just really want to finish it and look good.
  18. Very nice.

    Rivy

Built this along time ago ,in the early 90's. Not the best pictures. Plan to build a replica of it one of these days . Pretty sure this is the first model I ever put in a show
  20. Glad to see it again. Would love to see you finish it.?
  21. Dave, knowing you, you could probably just use the Revell 59 Cady . I'm not positively sure but I think the Revell rear bumper fits the AMT body really good . It eliminates the big step of the ambulance. But no matter what I'm sure you could cut them both up a make it fit !
  22. Dave, did you find it or are these old pictures??
  23. If you start one , maybe Dave will dig his hatchback version out?
