Not too sure where these wheels and tires came from, but they are pretty close to my reference pictures. Anybody have any ideas? After some cutting and trimming, the wheel backs will fit into these nicely

Thanks for the encouraging words, guys!

I paid 53, which for a resin isn't bad

Thanks. I'm using the engine and chassis from the old Johan kit. I hope to scratch build a roof rack. We'll see how it goes. More pics soon!

I can't remember, but I do recall that the body was in multiple parts. I think it was molded in blue. It's been a long time!

I built this '57 Ford some time ago. Liking the way it turned out, I dug out a very old Ranchero, and tried to make 'em twins. Thanks for looking!

OK, one of my favorite cars when I was younger was a '68 Plymouth Fury Wagon. Since I like re-creating my youth, I wanted to build one First, the wrong way: Buy a fairly rare Fury 4 door, and cut it up. Then, the right way: Found a resin version of the wagon, So I'm also now trying to put the 4 door back together! Good thing I've got the weekend. More later!

Nice transformation. What are you going to use for door handles?
-
Wow! Took me a minute to realize I wasn't looking at a 1:1 build!
-
Perfect! Thanks!

Anyone know a source for exterior door handles for 60's, 70's Fords?
-
How did you do the new door handles?
-
Great job! Can you tell me more about where you got the interior handles and cranks? They look great!

Cool model. Got any pics on how you did the conversion? -
Personally, I liked the way you grafted the top. It keeps the flow of the windows and body lines nice and neat. Great job!

Thanks! I'm trying to stick with this one til the end, and not just throw it back into the box

I'm having to start all over on my Ford LTD. but oven cleaner is not stripping the paint. Any suggestions? Thanks

This kit has a lot of potential, but you are right - it takes a while to get the fit right. Even my back bumper took some massaging. You did a great job! Very clean.

Awesome build! And you are the king at making an engine look gunky! Is that a word?

Beautiful models! Very neat and clean - just what someone would expect from a experienced modeler! Welcome back to the hobby.

That is awesome. Very realistic.... Except for the giant hand in a few pics...
