  1. You just opened an old JoHan sealed kit!! I lost consciousness for a few moments... LOL... Very good start, i love the color, it will look great, keep this one going!!
  2. Of course it will!!! The AMT kit 427.. Here's what i've done so far with the powetrain... I'll be adding wires to the engine, and giving it a wash to add depth to details... The engine has been painted Testor's Chevy engine red (Lacquer)
  3. I agree with both of you, i once consider swapping the rear portion of a ZR-1 to my convertible to build something like this, but i will wait a bit till AMT release a GS body!! I'm sure they will!!
  4. Wow! This is fast! Thank's for sharing, great looking model....
  5. Yes, it works great, the testor's one coat lacquer clear is polishing down smooth as glass, i used my polishing clothes and meguiar's fine cut coupound before applying a Meguiar's NXT gen. tech wax... I loved the finish so bad, i couldn't resist buying 3 more cans of this clear. But you have to be careful when buffing because it's very thin and it's easy to get thru to primer on edges. The time period, i built this one, i didn't have a workshop, my airbrush and compressor were in storage, because didn't have enough space in my last home!! But now, i moved and i have a room to play again, but i will build a few more with this spary paint technique in a near future!!
  6. Tank's everybody for your comments! A great source of motivation!! Thank you!
  7. Thank's everybody for the kind comments, i'm excited to keep this one going.. Next step will be the clearcoat, and interior (don't know the interior color yet, green or black??) Thank's a lot for encouragements...
  8. Yes, it comes with the interior, separate engine bay (to fit on the AMT1967 Impala) and the floorpan. It's a very nice kit, a bit ruffer than Modelhaus, but it work out easily.. The interion is my next step!!
  9. Here's my last completion! A 2012 Corvette from AMT (Showroom replicas) It's beeen painted Tamiya bright red spray can with Testor's one coat lacquer clear. I'm pleased with the results with these paints, i didn't have acces to my airbrush at the moment so i used only spray paints and bottles acrylics (brush painted)
  10. Hi everbody! Here's my new project, a 1968 Chevy Biscayne 427! It's based on a MCW resin body transkit, with the AMT 1967 Impala to complete, here's what i got so far. It's been painted in PPG Base coat green. Now, i'm on my way to clearcoat.. More to come...
  11. I never stripped paint from a resin body, the only thing i can say to help you DO NOT IMMERSE IN BRAKE FLUID..... It will ruin your body, a friend of mine did it with a 1962 chevrolet from MCW and the body completely melted!! I may try Castrol Super Clean if i need to strip resin one day.
  12. Wow! They're a lot better looking than the origlnal stuff!!
  13. Yesterday, i tried to swap ZL1 part with the converible parts just for fun!! I does fit perfectly, all the parts that differs from SS to ZL1 are apart from the body, even the rocker panels!! So i ended up with two complete bodies, a ZL1 convertible, and an SS hardtop without wasting a single part from the bodies!!! I like it!! Very good looking kits, even if it's curbside! And i think the tires are better than Revell.
  14. Wow! This is awesome, i'm stunned with the realism of your Charger!! I'll be watching this one closely! Keep it on!
  15. Very nice work, can't wait to see more!!

  19. Nice work!! Very clean build, and these Z06 wheels look right at home! Congratulations...
  20. Very nice!! I love the color and your build is very clean! The engine is awesome with these Mopar Performance valve covers! Good work...
  21. Sweeeet!! I love it, the stance is cool with the wheels and tires combo!!!
  22. Maybe, we'll have two clear parts trees for the lightbars, so will be included the taillights.. One red and one blue, or one red and one clear, it will be nice!! I can't wait to build this one!!!
  23. Nice restoration! Sweet looking and clean, i like it!!
  24. Awesome!! Good save!, I love it!!
  25. I remember this one, the test shot was painted red and looked beuatiful!! It has been posted earlier last year or so, it is a modified reissue from Galaxie, so it's a 1948 just like their counterparts (i think you could build 1947 and 1948) Can't wat to see the production model of thid one!! Here's the picture of the completed test shot in 2012.. Mike...
