  8. NICE DRAG WEEK-END COMBO! Isn't the trailer the same as the limited edition clear tag trailer from AMT a few years back?? I had a closed shell (clear to let see through) but the platform looks the same. Of course with the modifications you've done (wheels and tires) it looks a lot better!! Nice Charger too, i like the color!! Congratulations!
  9. Your Shelby is stunning! The paint is smooth as glass. The details and assembly are clean, it looks like a 1:1 car! Congratulations!
  10. Usually, like on this one, i use Detail Master polishing clothes followed by 3M medium cut coumpoud, and Meguiar's fine cut coumpound and i apply Meguiar's nXt generation 2.0 tech wax for the finish!! It alway's worked out great, my Biscayne to this building stage, don't have the final wax applied, i wait till the model is completed before applying it! Can't wait to complete this one, i've been stopped all last 5 days from building, because a small tornado have gave us a power failure all over the country... We recover it yesterday, now that the cleanup is complete, i'm back into modeling again!! More pics to come and thank's for the comments!!
  11. Your Nova is nice! I like the idea of a four banger, i didn't even knew it existed, i tought all novas were six and eight cylinders engined!!! Congratulations, very convincing replica....
  12. Wow! This is the cleanest Galaxie Build i ever seen.. Nice paint, very glossy. Congratulations...
  13. Nice! You've done a really good job on your Gremmy!! I liket it, i like the stock look! Very nice color choice..
  14. Yes the bottom of the body is a bit bowed out, i fixed it with hot water and for the remaining it will be superglued to the chassis so it will be correct. It's a good kit overall, espacially for the price!! Thanks for comment!
  15. Here's the latest news about my Biscayne! It's been a while since my last post, but i keep working on this one on my off times!! Here it goes with it's dod dish hubcaps and chorme foil done. I'll keep the hubcaps only on right side, because i really like the look without these, as you can see on the next picture.. Everything must be set soon as i attempt to a model show on august 18... See ya!
  16. Sweet pick-up! I like the weathering, it looks like real stuff! And above all, i like the unrestored body on a modified vehicle. I just love it...
  17. I can see Boss Hogg sat on the rear seat of the convertible already! LOL.... I'll be watching the rebuilds, these kits are really clean, they'll look awesome when rebuilt!!
  18. Cool!!! Another great '68 comin' I'll be watching!
  19. Nice Monte-Carlo's, clean work.. I have the white one in my collection with Slixx decals, your's look really good!!
  20. All the models i see here are beautifully built and looks great!! But it's been hard not to mention that sometimes we compete against modeler's with 95% scatchbuilt and all machined metal parts that looks just awesome! Modelers with machining skills, that make their models look juste like a real car (most of the time customs and race cars). But to me, every modeler have something very interesting to show, and when i attempt to shows like NNL East, i'm not waiting to win something, only sharing with other modeler's and seeing very nice models on the tables makes me really happy. About each model i look, learn me something new, or giving me an idea for a future project, and i think that's why i'm still hooked to this hobby, and i'm never discouraged, not being a winner!! Lots of people are looking our models, and for general public that candy paint with lots of chrome and aluminium parts seem to be better because it's eye catching... But when you look closer all of the models on the tables, you can see some very nice craftamship hiding under somewhat ordinary looking car!! Just like The 2015 Chevelle concept, i followed the wip on this one, and there's a lot of work on this one, and really well done, but if it's been painted a really flashing color, it must have catch the eye of everyone, so they could have seen all the work that have been done, but the stock concept vision, might have not been the same!! Because a Chevelle alway's looked good in red... (and to me you just scored, because it's so stock looking, general public didn't notice it's a concept, just like if G.M. has made this one!!) If you want your model to stand out, paint it an uncommon color to catch the eye, but to me, all of you guys build awesome models and should keep your buildind just the way it is, no matter if it's overlooked in shows, real modleler's will notice all of the details and that's what counts, being a stand out is just a bonus. I build models that i want, the color i want and i'm pleased with it, if someone likes it, that's good, if no ones talks about it, that's good too. My models, most of the times are in stock colors, with stock or mild customized parts, and it's true that my Metallic. Orange 1962 pick-up maded people talk more about it than my other models and that was my bonus 2 years ago, but i built it this way, because i wanted it this way, not to make people talk.. but i keep building models my way, because i like it!! Keep it on everybody..

  23. Very nice! I like this color, it's been buit very clean. Congratulations!
  24. Wow! You did a great job correcting this kit so far, you may try to correct the kit windows to the modded height and vacuform new ones with this master.. I'm thinkin so, for mine, later!! Keep it on, can't wait to see more...
  25. I like this color too! A classic among Le Mans supercars. It looks so convincing, we may think it has existed! Very nice crafstmanship, congratulations!
