  6. That's the reason why these classics worth as much today!! Everyone is looking for one, but only a few remains!!! And about half of the Chargers of this generation have been destroyed during Dukes of Hazzard show. Sad to see this paticular one, my favorite Muscle-car, my favorite color!! I don't thik it's salvageable since it rest in a swamp. But i still like DOH a lot!!
  7. Wow! Your project reminds me good memories! A friend of mine own a 1973 Duster with a 650 HP. stroked 340.. He ran his fastest run in 1998 on a 1/4 mile strip, at 10.18 at about 120mph!!!! Only the natural aspiration (non turbo or supercharged) small block without nitrous! Oh, i almost forgot to mention that the car was a four speed manual shift!! Last time it ran, was at Englishtown dragway at the Mopar weekend in 1999 and he made a feature in Mopar Action magazine . What a car it was.. And not to forget the driver, sounds like Ronnie Sox shifting his gears!! Can't wait to see more developpements on your build, keep it up!
  8. Wow! Your project is looking very good so far! It's a very commonly seen car on drag racetrack, and yours is just the way they look as 1:1 yet! The stance also look very nice! Can't wait to see the finished product! Mike...
  9. Wow! A whole bunch of good looking Mopars.... Well built and with beautiful 70's colors! Congratulations!!
  10. Let's keep building models!!!

  11. Nice conversion you're doing! This orange color will keep it's Muscle-car look, even if it's now a wagon! Keep it on, looks good do far!
  12. Thank's for your kind comments! I'm now motivated to begin a new project, soon to be WIP!! Thank's again! Mikem....
  13. Unfortunately, i won't buy a single example of this kit..... No, i will have to buy a complete crate of them!!!! :-P I'm so much ecxited to finally have possibilty to build a LX version, i like it just the way it has been presented at the show. And i'm very happy with the police version. Even the wheels are a nice addition, the first time we'll have them in kit form!! THANK'S A LOT REVELL, KEEP IT ON!!!
  14. Hi everybody! Here's my latest, a 2010 Mustang GT from Revell! It's been built out of the box, with silver paint from Tamiya with a PPG urethane clearcoat. I wanted to give my 'Stang a stock look, excepts from the simulated carbon fiber top panel (i messed with the paint under this decal unfortunately!!) It's been a year in the works, mostly in hotel rooms during trips for my work! So here's the pics! So, now it's done, let's go for another one! See ya! Mike...
  15. General Lowrider! What a nice look your Charger have, first time i see one with a lowrider style! Your paint is awesome... Congratulations!
  16. These pick-ups will be very interesting subjects, it's good to see some new pick-up tooling! Can't wait to buy mine!
  17. I'm very excited about the 'Cuda, but i would like to have this mustang, particularily because it's a new 1/25 tooling and because there is a cop car version!!! Now i will have to buy at least two of these!! Thank's Revell.....
  18. Wow! Your Camaro is as nice as it can be!! I like the color and vinyl top combo.. Congratulations!
  19. Wow! What a nice Bee you got there, i like the Nascar look!! Congratulations!! Mike...
  20. Thank's for reply! I remeber, when i built it few years back, i saw this car on the Fred Cady decal reference sheet, but couldn't see the driver... Not that bad, i like the look of the Carlo with these decals! I may opt for Buddy Baker!!
  21. Hi! Here's my two modern Chargers! Texas DPS is Lindberg out of the box and N.-J. is a Tetor's Metal model kit. Both have been painted with base coat/clearcoat PPG.. N.J. unit have been stripped down before painting. I know that the ligntbar on the Texas DPS unit shoulb be clear since they are LED, but i prfer the look of the red/blue lightbar on the roof of a police car! Nice models on this thread, congratulations to all modelers, it's a pleasure to look! t
  22. I will buy that Foose Firebird for sure, even if the stance is stock! I think that someone should bring us a well proportined Plymouth 'Cuda 70-71... The new Charger 2012 cop car, even R/T and SRT-8 More vans and pick-ups from the 70's Why not an american tuner (2005-2007 Cobalt SS Supercharged and 2008-2010 turbo) 2012 Camaro ZL-1 Update the Chalenger with 2010+ SRT392... 1970 Dodge Charger (will be interesting to have a non-R/T option) 1980-1990 Chevy Caprice or Impala police car!! At least a modern pick-up (full size) O.K. enough for now, i know that the model manufacturers are limited in their costs for new products developpements... But will be pleased to see at least one of in my wish list!!
  23. Wow! Your Willys looks like the real thing, i like the Alclad with dullcote combination.... Very nice details, excellent craftmanship. Awesome, congratuations! Mike...
  24. Hi! Here's mine, it's a '85 or '86 Chevy Monte-Carlo from Monogram with Fred Cady decals. Since it's never been raced, i don't know who was the designated driver at this time.. By the way, if someone can help me with that, because i've been told it was a phantom race car while i was building it.. so i left it aside a bit and never completed the decals on it. I built it four years ago! It's been built box stock, except for the engine wires, the paint is white automotive lacquer... Mike...
