  1. v8 rs is coming along..... i'm now debating trying to make a bubble back...... hmmmm that would be a task!!
  2. Yeah yeah I know I fixed my own problem without the dealers help because they just want to charge me out the nose ( I know I cannot afford them) and it only took me 3 pedals to make the ol assembly work again! the way its supposed to.... for a loooong temporary fix I had to put a cap from a contact wetting soloution on the end of the clutch push rod and jam it into the back of the plastic pedal to make my clutch work, but that's a whole nothter story Boys and Girls...... like I say I LOVE the car
  3. if you were a Saturn tech then perhaps saturns demise was due to its stupid design of a PLASTIC clutch pedal assembly asides the plastic pedal the car is pretty awesome!
  4. you got a buy on that gmc truck benny those go for big bucks on e bay! I would love another that's for sure!
  5. you are sooooo right sir! I think most gooky muffler racers and other pocket rocket cars always want to race me because I've got that darned wing, some days I dislike it because I can't see whos tailing me but the more I imagine my car without it I like it more and more the Saturn "lsj" was a yr ahead of the "ss" cobalt my car does not advertise though that is supercharged...... I love to keep the car nice and quite and accelerate and shift normal, then when someone comes beside me acting stupid, I downshift a gear hit the gas pedal the Eaton supercharger kicks in nice and loud with that awesome WHHHIIIIIIIINNNNNEEEE and i'm gone! its sooooo fun
  6. more to come...... on the cobra
  7. heres my space(s) can you tell I just did a paint inventory and somewhat organized my hobby supplies?!? currently these guys get stored in the closet with the rest of the stash, usually space permitting I always try to keep small parts and "spares" on the bench doesn't always work that way...... apartment stash here at home starage unit stash (sometimes I swap out kits) or go to the unit for trades with other mcm members

  12. way cooler than my box stock "mount n goat" build and my cj 7 and my jeep honcho all put together! well done!
  13. that duplicolor green is almost a bluish green! looks to have come out great i'm going to use duplicolor onn a couple mustang builds its really a gm light blue, but it was the closest I could find to ford light regatta blue..... lookin great I have a rebuilder of this kit i'm trying to figure out what color to go with
  14. ford courier truck. the one with the camper shell (thank you Evilbenny) great traders here we go......
  15. naw the wheels and tires ar from a generic dollar general military playset toy that comes with a 6 wheel tank that has those rims/ tires sweet tires for any truck 4x4 or not
  16. I got the body in that condition i'm not a fan of rusty's so I may just fill in the swiss cheese with putty and fix her up??
  17. i what your talking about freakshow! after 84 the 85 and 86 mustangs had a different rear spoiler on the hatch decklid, the svo bi wing is perfect if you remove the upper section...... only if its a 86 model you need to add the new for 86 government mandated 3rd brakelight in the spoiler! do I know foxbodys or what? j/k ya'll you tend to leanr ALOT about them when you own one for several years!
  18. what exatctly did you do? I say the hood is quite over the top what scale is that?
  19. not exactly the same but closer than the 79-84 rub strips/ belt moulding
  20. that's the interesting part....... the mpc 79-84 fox kits all had the same typical beltline moulding rub strips...... the mpc 87-93 style gt mustangs the beltline actually very closely resembles the 85/ 86 belt rub strip mouldings the only thing it won't have is the "GT" indention in the small rub strip behind the doors before rear wheel openings....... I plan on replicating that with a small "gt" decal from the 83-84 gt mustang kits...... the hod is the same too! the 87-93 hood looks very close to the 85- 86 just need to shave down some material from the center section of the front of the hood....... its fun making all this stuff "work" to make something that wasn't
  21. I don't think I went an extra mile, I just do what I feel is right I have "overages" of certaing things so I add a little extra that I would think to be useful to the trader end most traders on here are the same way willing to "GIVE" that's what makes the hobby fun extras and "bonuses" are always appreciated and if the receiving end has no use for the parts usually they know someone that does need those parts....... just makes things super positive
  22. wow weeeeeee looks so fast standin still !
  23. neat info edsel; I would like a plow kit jeep, getting very hard to come by
  24. looks like a deals wheels kits sorta! love those wild wacky kits......
