This is the Johnny Lightning version of the Yankee Challenger put out a couple of years ago by AMT....Nope not a diecast....
Harry.. you are correct... only 2 or so years ago michael was building what he would refer as glue bombs.... he has learned alot in a short amount of time and takes constructive critisism well...he asks a bunch of questions from myself and members of the SCMA club and returns with better and better models....Just a side note i will be busting his chops in person about that...LOL

The Centers are cast resin pieces with aluminum outer wheel..the resin pieces were given to me a couple of years back at the NNL east dont remember who cast them.. the inner and outer aluminum pieces were machined by myself...
Tried to make it look almost factory, got just the response i wanted when someone looks under the hood....." Double Take "
Having them cast from the AMT torino kit.... hoping they will look ok... dont know how much room i have but plan on making them work... if they work out ok may see if i can get more made and maybe offer to others.....heard that missing link resins had them but do not believe that is so at this time...
Pics will be forthcoming

Yes the lighting was not the best and does in fact make it look like the plating is worn away...the chrome is there, none missing....
Stock 1965 Chevy green met with fawn interior .... on the big cars always loved that combo....
Russ....
thank you for your comments about the fairlane.....the seat pattern is from scale motorsports and the trunk liner is also from scale motorsports.....
the paint is Tamiya racing green with acme urethane clear...the green was the closest i could find to match the ford dark green....it really is a great color.....again thanks for the comments.....
