  1. Yikes, this is a reply to a post from a year ago or so! With the exception of the California Charger Dragster, all the Revell Front Engine kits in 1/16th are basically the same issue. The only difference between them and the Cal Charger is the body, engine dress parts, wheels and decals. This car ran a 392 vs. the 426 in the kits. But you can fudge it by using the engine from a Cal Charger kit or an aftermarket 392 I forget who did the decals, I can check when I get home, but they are really nice and should use them soon. Sorry, I will not scan someone else's work. If they where actual kit decals I would.
  2. It is a very simplistic kit, but, it has the potential to be detailed. Mine is not mint and has been started but I can take some pics and post them later.
  3. It should be, looks pretty stock on the box art.
  4. Oh that is nice! Great job and thanks for sharing!
  5. Prayers and condolences to his family, friends and the modeling community. Vaya con Dios
  6. Nice work! This is coming along nicely!
  7. By the title of your thread, I thought you meant "Cop Out"
  8. I will probably get one for the show biz connection and my habit of collecting show biz related kits.
  9. A friend of mine had one in High School, his dad picked it up for about $400 or so from a Sailor who was being deployed. It was not the cleanest or the rarest, but, it did have lots of room with the back seat gone and the back turned into basically a wagon! He didn't have license so he asked me to drive us around in it, The only problem with the arrangement was that I myself did not have a license either! It was jacked up in the rear with Cragars all around and super wide tires on it. Yeah, it was a fun car to tool around in and with only a 302, 2 barrel and an automatic trans, we couldn't get into too much trouble. Good times!

    eldorado.

That is one sharp Caddy! Nice build!
  11. That is some seriously clean building and attention to detail!
  12. There is a thread on the Monza somewhere around here. Oh! Here it is!
  13. I work on them when I am not too tired, have time or need to unwind. So there is really no time set or limit. Just do as you need or please.
  14. Yes, quite a few folks at the show made some very tempting offers, but, I have wanted one for a while, along with the B-17, so this one is a keeper! But thanks for asking!
  15. Score from the 2016 San Diego IPMS Model Expo. The HK Models 1/32 B-25 Mitchell and Monogram 37 Ford I won at the raffle! The rest was wheelin' and Dealin'!
  16. Very nice build, that is one nice looking race car.
  17. Ok, can you tell the rest of us how to do that? Please Never mind! Figured it out! Just click on the upper right hand corner of the signature!
  18. Unfortunately the guy I got the kit from had glued the chassis together and the wheelbase is a bit off. But it is just a shelf model with no engine in it!
  19. Nice job on a finicky kit! I bought one from a fellow club member that had been "Started" and when I got home I discovered the decals, cylinder heads and a few little parts where gone! Luckily I had some old decals in my stash for the Hawaiian Tropic issue and I used those. But I just picked up a fresh one and plan on doing it in the Pepsi colors.
  20. very cool! I need to build me one soon
  21. That is very cool! Nice build!
  22. Nice! Very nice!! Who's kits are they? I really like that 1200! But that 710 is no slouch either! Great job on both!
  23. Just add some pace car decals and i'll take it!
