  1. How most typical contest end up.....
  2. How about a new tool for once, just something new from them. I appreciate the re-issues and some great ones have come back, but, it would be nice to get something new.
  3. I am guilty of posting my builds on someone else's thread, but not to show off, just sharing that I build one as well. Looks like I will stop doing that from now on. My problem is when some start a personal conversation that does not involve the original poster or the subject matter.
  4. Very nice! Those Slixx decals look great! Paint?
  5. You started the Charger thread in January and you are still getting comments, what is the problem? i didn't look up your second thread as stock builds are not really my thing.
  6. Wow! You make it look easy! I guess I am going to give my scratch building a real test here soon. Thanks for the pics, they really do help!
  7. Wow, I am currently trying to figure out how to make a wagon out of that kit and you did it! How? What other kit did you use or is it all scratched up? Very cool build!
  8. Would be nice to get them back! But most likely they will not come back since the tooling was modified and updated over the years. But, from what I was told once, the '72 SSlasher Chevelle had the Street Funny parts still in it. I have not had the chance to look at one to see if it is true.
  9. Similar, but, not it. 1960's 1950's
  10. This so cool! Glad to see someone using the Parts Pack Frame for it's intended purpose, to make a cool dragster!!
  11. And don't forget the most Iconic of them all!
  12. When everyone was wearing Von Dutch clothing, lots of hot rods starting sporting this bumper sticker
  13. It was really a response to the Ford 427 SOHC and it was more to get that engine banned. After they banned them both, Chrysler quickly killed the program. Only two engines where made and only one complete one survived. They turned the engine over with an electric motor to check valvetrain, but they never ran on fuel. Most of the design came from an aborted INDY engine program that didn't make it. I would be cool to see one run and get revved up to the expected 7000 RPM capability!
  14. The last of the true "Lead Slingers" has passed.
  15. Very cool! It will make a great bookend!
  16. Wow, that article is 5 years old!
  17. Yes, that is same thing I read.
  18. This is awesome! Nice builds of some really cool Hot Wheels!!
  19. Cool engine, too bad neither of the prototypes ever ran.
