  1. I like it! The Monogram issue is so much nicer than the Revell version, but, they should both come back!
  2. Very nice! I like the windows effect.
  3. WIP = Work in Progress That looks really nice! My friend Skip Samples helped Joe at Fremont make the decals, nice to see them being used!
  4. Well, there is a full detail kit of a Daytona, but, it is in 1/24 and it is a bit pricey now. So maybe a mass made one by Revell, AMT or Monogram would be a good idea. And a Cheetah too!
  5. Oh that is clean! I need one now.
  6. Nice! Very nice! Looks like a piece of candy, and I like candy!
  7. Just a photo I dug up, wish I had that kit! But I am looking for one!!
  8. Yeah, he has been pretty busy lately, it took a few tries for me to get him on the phone last week. But, he is still running, albeit slowly, and chugging along. I thought I had a show flyer, but, I must have given it to someone else. All the info, other than the date, is still the same as it is on the web site.
  9. Wasn't someone looking for cast ready bodies in the wanted section or aftermarket? Because I want one!
  10. August the 13th at the same location in Carlsbad. I will post a flyer later as I do not have one at work.
  11. Well, I heard that the actual car they used for the Police car reference is here in San Diego, CA and it is in San Diego Police Markings, which are just like the box art, minus the Virginia decals. Maybe I can track down the car at one of the local car shows soon and double check all that. But it makes for a good story!
  12. And just for kicks, here is the collection! I have all but the Gator one.
  13. Guess what? LOL! I was a kid when it came out and I did watch it, thought it was far out! LOL! Now I watch the re-runs once in a while and it is pretty goofy
  14. I know that some around these parts like to praise anyone and anything and sometimes they are doing a great disservice to some builders by making them think they are doing great, and thus they think they are doing well and will not push to increase their skill set. And some like to pounce on those for saying what they really feel about a build. Hence, if I don't like it, I will not comment. I have been taken to task for being honest on some builders. Whenever I post a build, I like to hear honest comments, good or bad. And if you don't wish to comment, that is fine as well. My biggest beef is still poor pictures with a "Sorry for the bad pictures" note attached. There is really not much of an excuse not too take better pics.
  15. Here you go! I did not have my ruler handy, so I used a Sharpie for scale. I think it is in the 1/12th scale zone
  16. Very cool! I just picked one up last night at my Model Meeting! Another Grail done!
  17. Oh! That GTO! LOL! I was thinking Pontiac!
  18. This is a great project! So, which GTO chassis are you referring to?
  19. My question is why do threads like these keep popping up in the News and Reviews section. How is this either? I keep seeing these kinds of postings here and wonder what part of it pertains to the section. This question could be easily asked in the General section
