  1. That is a sexy machine!
  2. Nice build of a very rare and exotic machine! And champagne gold, real fancy!
  3. JC, the Japanese market cars where all Bluebirds, only in the U.S. where they called 510, after their model designation of PL510. The rest of the world got the Datsun 1600. And yes, they do make a street version that is very nice and accurate!
  4. Real estate prices and environmental concerns killed the tracks in Southern California. Pomona hangs on a thread with the encroachment of very wealthy neighborhoods who's residents hold the ear of City Hall
  5. Glad I have one in my stash and it is on the "I am going to build that someday" list!
  6. Coming along very nicely!
  7. They only work on certain cars And this is not one of them......
  8. As much as I would love to see them, they didn't sell then and they would not sell now.
  9. You know the driver is laughing his butt off for the first two miles! I too have been looking out for this kit, should make a nice shelf model.
  10. Looking great! Now I am getting ideas!
  11. You attention to detail is just too cool! Thanks for proving that kit accuracy is up to the builder and not the kit maker!
  12. Well, ruined or not, I hope we at least get some new tools out of this deal. Good night! Jesse C.
  13. Nice to see Team Foose come to the defense! I don't claim to be a car builder and I used to watch his shows, but, they grew into the same thing, and that, is what is imprinted in our brains. And then to have it driven deeper by model kits that have the same thing we saw on t.v. Alumna Coupe and Hemiwhatever have the same look, I never said they where the same. Have you ever seen either one of these cars in person, or any Foose cars? I have, and I must admit, they are very well done, but, no one said I had to like it all. And I also reserve the right to say as I please, at least I am not assuming he is building other peoples cars!
  14. I agree, the cookie cutter style of his "Made for Television" cars got boring pretty fast. And yes, he also makes some flat out "Custom" cars, but they too, got pretty boring and did nothing really ground breaking. His line of Customized kits just sound like what has been done before by other customizers, like Barris, just add decals, wheels and a goofy paint job and voila! New kits! Revell should talk to these guys if they are serious
  15. He said that HE thinks Foose ruins cars
  16. The problem with the flat out custom cars art their limited appeal in the long run. You can keep re-doing a '56 F-100 and the Impala, but, the others are limited to what they are, and once the partnership dissolves, then what do you do with them and what do you call them? You can use them to kit bash and customize even further, but, how many of us actually do that? My Vote, the Ford '56 F-100 and the Ford '34 Stallion
  17. Don't you find it odd that the Daniels' kit and the Barris' kit look sort of the same?
  18. Yes, we are a bit jaded around here when it comes to cars. So much stuff is on the roads and I had no idea that this car was such hot stuff to watch out for! Heck, there is one that parks across the parking lot from here at work! Never really got excited about it! Guess I should! Hey Pete, missed you at the meeting last night!
  19. Nice! And all three kits are currently available!!
