  1. Kleeeeenn!!!!!
  2. Yeah, the Street Vette became the SS hatchback. Could be, and should be, converted back to the Cal Vette
  3. I am so tired to those fake spindle mount front spoke wheels from E.T. But, at least it doesn't have Red Steel Wheels!!
  4. That is a fine looking machine! I remember when one of our neighbors got one, it was pretty snazzy! Came with some decal package from the dealer on a slightly metallic red paint job. It ruled the roost, until someone bought a Le Car!
  5. No, criticism is fine and should be encouraged, but, when it starts getting insulting, that is when it gets out of hand. Calling those who are willing to get it, despite the so called flaws, not that smart, then it gets a bit irritating and thus starting a the whole mess, again and again and again. I honestly don't care! I will buy what I want and build it, or just throw it on the piles! Junk or not!
  6. Mother Nature causes droughts, State Gov. causes water shortages. Ta da!
  7. You are having way too much fun!
  8. Wow, that is the smoothest looking Willys around! Nice job!!
  9. Yeah, ebay prices by those set sellers are pretty ridiculous. Think of how much you bought it for and how much you would pay for it now. It may not be too rare in the states, but, it can't be that common in the Netherlands, right? Go with you gut feeling on this one.
  10. And they have paid attention and they have made what "We" want, and yet the belly aching continued. Nothing is perfect in the eyes of some around here. Yet "we" all get cast in that die. They have other ways to gauge the market, and petty crying on web boards seems like a dead end. Yes, it starts out like sensible critique and it quickly turns into a Three Stooges movie.
  11. Very cool! Big Deal would be proud!
  12. Nice and Proper! Great build!
  13. Seems to be working fine now! http://www.round2corp.com/ But please feel free to finish polishing off that 5th!
  14. Bummer, may he Rest In Peace. NHRA teams have them for aero reasons, not really safety.
  15. You did that model justice! I love the Retro Feel of it!
  16. First and foremost, sorry for the loss. Dealing with a Model Builders/Collectors collection is a very time consuming affair. I have helped two families dispose of such collections and it is not easy. Lots of work and time goes into getting rid of what took so long to gather. It is a labor of love. I did it because they where dear friends of mine, otherwise I would have wished them luck and moved on. Do what you feel is right, if you wish to pass it on, then do so with no regret, and if you choose to deal with it, be very patient. Just my thoughts
  17. Start here http://bangshift.com/
  18. Oh, whats up? I will check my box
  19. Where in San Diego is the show taking place?
  20. If that is the case, remind me not to tell you which models I want! LOL!
  21. The color is an odd one. It's a light, almost mustard like, orange color. I know some used the same color as the Burger King Stock car that Nemechek drove. Don't forget the car also ran a 454 Chevy at first. But, at one point, the car was painted Gold and the engine was switched to the 392 from the Altered and the Chevy was gone.
  22. And odds are that this is probably the most accurate kit they ever made!! LOL!
