I found it at Burbank's House of Hobbies, and oddly enough, in Burbank, CA They only had a couple in stock and I went ahead and grabbed one. I know that Auto World has them and I might order another one from them, but, getting one instantly and without shipping charges was great!

And another thing is that some of these guys also have a valid NHRA Competition License. NHRA does not want this to come back to them in any way. Regardless, it is all scripted reality drama for T.V. and unfortunately, they can still crash and have done plenty of times

It was not about ratings, it was about the whole "Street Racing" thing and these guys running NHRA decals on tv while doing it. Kinda messes up the whole "Dedicated to Safety" motto of the NHRA and it does glorify illegal street racing.

Most of the heavy hitter cars are Pro Stock chassis built. The small tire cars, like the Mustangs, are mostly subframed cars. I would recommend the Monogram/Revell Pro Stock kits for donor chassis. Or at least they would offer a close start.

Yup, not worth a dime! Just send it to me for proper disposal! All kidding aside, this is a rare kit. Only issued twice and then most likely modified into another car and thus probably won't come back. No, most where the product of the team at AMT. He approved it and that was it. He had his hand in lots of kits back then as a "Consultant" If you have a kit of the Winged Express Fuel Altered in the original box, you will notice the the engine is called a "429 Ford Semi Hemi" but it is really and early Chrysler 392. It was called a Ford due to Barris having a say so since he was at the time peddling Ford products. He pretty much had his finger in all the model companies at one time or another.
