Why not just glue the body halves together and cut off the cowl? That is how I did my Ramchargers and More American Graffiti cars. Then you can do the chassis in one piece with out messing with the roll bar hoop or trying to get rid of the body seam after you assemble it around the chassis.
Yeah, the early cars where not short! Maybe AMT made the kit before they could actually measure it. But then again, most funny car kits where a bit weird at first. Just look at Revell's early stuff.
I would love to have this kit as well
Yes, I will probably get it back on the bench soon. And I am going to have to take some license as well with the decals. My friend was going to do them but he never got the chance. So I wing it or check and see if Fremont Resin is going to do them.
I got to see the IDx when they brought it to Cars and Coffee and they where really nice. I know they where just concept cars, but, they had some really nice ideas and looked very cool in person. Shame they killed the concept.
Wow, this is very cool! Will be keeping an eye on this. And for a minute I thought maybe you where building the "King of the Mountain" Vette! And BTW, where are the pigs?
Very cool! Now I have to find more of these!! Yeah, too bad the bathing lady set is a small scale, I could have replaced her with the Linda Vaughn figure!
